Our Summer Holiday Clinics are catered and focussed on supporting the progression of new and existing youth riders. By providing them easy to remember skillsets, in a fun and adventurous way to progress their riding abilities, they are bound to enjoy themselves and meet some new riding buddies out on the trails. For Tuned Rotorua to maintain a safe and fun learning environment for the group, we have a safety ratio of 1:8 (1 coach to 8 participants). All abilities are welcome; please get in contact with us if there are any queries about your child’s ability so we can ensure everyone stays safe and happy!
What you need to know:
The drop off / pickup location for the Summer Holiday Clinics is at the main Waipa MTB Carpark (seating area outside of toilet block). All clinics will run from 10:00am - 2:00pm (including a small lunch break at 12:00pm). All day bags may be stored in our company vehicle whilst out on the trails, a small snack and hydration is a requirement whilst they are out on the trails. Please ensure that the bikes they will be riding are suitable for off-road use and are in a good working condition. This will be monitored prior to departure of the clinic to avoid on the day maintenance. Weather conditions will be monitored up to the night prior of the clinic, if deemed unsafe for activity, a cancellation will be made. However, a waterproof jacket is recommended for any sudden change to conditions. Participants must provide their own lunch, If there are any Medical Conditions we should know about, please inform us on your order notes!
