Skyline Youth Coaching Days

Youth coaching at Skyline Rotorua MTB Park! Yes that’s right! We are continuing our Skyline Rotorua coaching days for our next generation of riders at the home of Crankworx Rotorua! These coaching days are focussed for youth riders aged between 8-13 years old, competent at riding Grade 3 Trails and who are wanting to take the next step with their riding in the Skyline Rotorua MTB park! There will be a maximum of 6 riders per instructor, allowing us to work closely with each rider (1:6). 

These limited coaching days are focussed on providing new skillsets and awareness to their abilities with others that share the same passion for riding their bikes. The most important part, to ensure they have an enjoyable / fun time out in the park, meeting new friends and learn new skills to keep safe, fuel the fire to come back for more.

What you need to know:

The drop off / pickup location for the Skyline MTB Youth Coaching Day is at the Skyline Rotorua MTB Carpark (Above the main carpark, past the maintenance sheds). The Clinic runs from 10:00am – 3:00pm (including a lunch break at 12:30pm). We will have two age groups on the same day – both groups with different instructors. All day bags may be stored in our company vehicle whilst out in the bike park, a small snack and hydration is a requirement whilst they are in the park. Please ensure that the bikes they will be riding are suitable for off-road use and are in a good working condition. This will be monitored prior to departure of the clinic to avoid on the day maintenance. Weather conditions will be monitored up to the night prior of the clinic, if deemed unsafe for activity, a postponement will be made. However, a waterproof jacket is recommended for any sudden change to conditions. Participants must provide their own lunch.
